As part of our AT Iron SeriesTM, our electroplated mandrels are specifically designed for casting applications in the Foundry market. They are ideal for removing Gates, Parting Lines, Risers and Flash from ductile, gray, and cast iron. These mandrels offer a wide range of advantages such as faster stock removal, reduced grinding time and cooler running. Other advantages include reduced silica dust exposure, reduced vibration/chatter and lower operating force for machine operators.
